The FOG Cloning Solution is installed and working on Ubuntu, but when we try to upload an image, it fails with this error and keeps looping during a partition resize:
ftp_rename() [<a href='function.ftp-rename' >function.ftp-rename</a>: RNFR command failed
We tried becoming owner of the images directory and have checked our firewall settings, but it doesn't work!
The reason for this is often some problems with the partitions on the host you're trying to create an image of.
The easiest way is to remove all unused partitions of this host. We did this with Gparted, integrated into the PXE boot environment. This way you can start GParted from your PXE boot. A tutorial for this can be found here:
